Research on Structure and Function of Automobile Door Weather Strip

Weather strip is an important component of automobile door. The paper introduces types and material of door weather strip as well as does some researches on typical sections of glass channel, inner belt, outer belt, door weather strip and door sill. At the same time, different functions and design rules of these sections are analyzed, which shows micro structures and matching of weather strips. At last, the paper comes to a conclusion that section design is the key points of weather strip design which directly affect the performance of weather strips, and also provides reference and support for further design and development of weather strips.
