Discussion on Settlement of Ground Improvement Works Based on Quota of Port & Waterway Engineering

Based on quota of port & waterway engineering, the factors and adjusting methods for the settlement of ground improvement works are discussed from the aspect of hill rock soil in order to promote the development of port & waterway engineering and ensure the execution of similar project settlement. A seaside ground improvement works is selected to analyze the factors that affect the project settlement according to industry regulations, quota, methods and etc. The analysis result shows that the tax exemption and wastage rate of materials have important impact on the settlement of ground improvement works subject to hill rock soil. Some suggestions are proposed for the calculation of the above two factors, which serves as a reference for similar projects.
