Abstract:
With increasing of large-span bridges,requirements for bridge operations safety have been increased.In order to ensure the structural safety during bridge operation,long-term monitoring for large-span bridges has been required.The closed connected pipe method has gained extensive attention in recent years because of its simplicity,reliability,good applicability,and obvious improvement in dynamic performance.The application analysis of a closed connected pipe based on a pressure sensor in the long-term monitoring of the deflection of a large-span bridge(100+180+100)m across Beijiang River on a certain expressway in Guangdong has been introduced.
