With the development of economic in Pearl River delta economic zone,the roads are becoming denser and better.In this condition,the building freeways will consequentially need to exchange traffic with the exist- ing roads,so interchange is becoming one of the necessary parts of freeway.In the developed district,buildings are densely covered,so it is becoming one of the very important factors how to avoid dispend of ground and buildings-breaking.Yuwotou interchange,which lies in Panyu district in Guangzhou city,is the important hinge among the three roads,Pearl River delta economic zone freeway,Nansha harbor freeway of Guangzhou, and the Nansha highway.Through expounding the Yuwotou interchange with its function,restrict factors and the comparison of several design projects,the paper analyses how to choose the appropriate shape of the inter- change and how to neatly set the interchange in order to make it assorted with the surroundings.
