Discussion of the subsidy-mechanism of urban public transport

For public good, most of urban transit enterprises usually run in the red. Under the policy of fiscal subsidies, the subsidies to public transport bear heavily on government. However, these heavy subsidies could not work well under active subsidies mechanism. Several active ways of fiscal subsidies are illustrated, with detailed analysis and contrasts between their advantages and disadvantages. Finally, how to build a more reasonable subsidy-mechanism is discussed.
