| Abstract: | The development course and main technical advantages of modern tramcar are briefly described. The line structure and traction power supply system of modern tramcar are discussed. The catenary type of modern tramcar and the new technology applied are emphatically introduced. The application of simple suspension catenary in urban rail transit with medium and low speed has good prospect. |
