Generalized CAPP System

Generalized CAPP system is a new concept presented by the author according to the factory practice and information needs analysis. The CAPP definition function structure relationship model and work principle of CAPP system are emphasised in this paper. Its application may not only make up insufficial places of traditional CAPP system, but also provide comprehensive information with the related production management material management and cost management system, so as to reach the optimun goal of factory totality. So there is a certain sense in studying and developing the CAPP system of our country.
