Selection of Track bound Transportation Equipments in Inclined Shaft and Matching Techniques for Trackless Transportation in Main Tunnel

The author presents the matching techniques for the construction of Baojiashan tunnel on Xiao kang section of Baotou Maoming expressway through No.3 inclined shaft in this paper, including track bound transportation equipment selection, transition from trackless transportation of mucks to track bound transportation, transition from track bound transportation of construction materials to trackless transportation, muck dumping system and pumping and drainage system. With the development of long tunnels in China, construction of main tunnels through steep inclined shaft is becoming popular. Study on such construction matching techniques can provide reference for construction of similar projects.
