| Abstract: | The elephant nose beam of the portal crane cracked caused by fatigue of steel structure which needed dismantling and replace large parts. This paper introduces the determination of the plan, states the preparation before dismantling and installation. Especially it introduces the whole process of welding and repairing to the cracked elephant nose beam, which offeres reference for maintenance of large equipment. |
