| Abstract: | Methods and techniques of using a large scale geographic map to produce DEM are presented, which takes the actual situation of a mountainous area highway survey into account. By comparison with the traditional mode, the advantages of the design approach to a mountainous area highway survey basing on DEM is pointed out in the paper and it is worthy to be spread. |
