Matching of Ancillary Construction Equipment for Large-diameter Slurry Shields Used in Urban Areas

On basis of the requirements of the large diameter slurry shields for Beijing Underground Rail Transit Line and the construction experience, the author presents the basis for the type selection of the ancillary construction equipment (including the slurry recycling system, the slurry treatment system, the transportation system, the mortar mixing system, the ventilation system and the cooling recycling system) for the large diameter slurry shields used for Beijing Underground Rail Transit Line, analyzes the factors that have influence on the type selection, describes the type selection process (including the parameter selection) and the equipment matching results.
