公交中间站是实现旅客沿途乘降的重要基础设施，在公交系统中发挥着重要的作用。在土地发展与公共交通发展初期，简单的公交中间站设置便可满足车辆停靠与旅客乘降需求。但当土地利用强度不断增大，公共交通线路规模不断扩张时，在某些线路密集、人流众多的公交中间站点，简单的站点设立方式已不能满足车辆停靠及旅客乘降需求，车站在站滞留时间过长，公交服务水平急速下降。此时，必须对车站的形式、规模进行必要的研究，以保证能力与需求的良好协调，从而降低车辆在站滞留时间，提高公交服务水平，保障公交的正常运营。针对此问题，论文对公交中间站的形式分类及其适用性进行了分析，结合公交中间站通过能力的计算以及广州公交运营实际，研究了通过车辆停靠数、旅客乘降量以及用地条件等因素确定公交站形式与规模的方法，并举出了实例，可为实际工作提供依据与参考。

Research on the way to determine type and scale of bus stops

Bus stop is a kind of primary facility in bus operation and it is very important for providing possibility of passengers' alighting and boarding.In initial stage of land-use and bus development,simple design of stops is enough for the dwelling of buses and passengers' boarding and alighting.But as land-use and bus system are developing,simple design cannot meet the need of buses and passengers in some lines concentrated and passengers crowded bus stops.In those stops the dwelling time of buses increases and level of bus service descends.It is highly necessary to research more about the type and scale of stops to ensure the harmonization between capacity and need.After discussing type classification and applicability,stop capacity calculating and bus operational characteristics,a method to determine the type and scale of stops is given here.With the method,the type and scale of stops can be determined when buses and passengers amount is given.Besides,some examples are also shown for implemental suggestions.
