| Abstract: | The scouring protection for pier foundations is a safety preventive measure for normal operation of major bridges having been built in the estuary and coastal areas in the recent years.In accordance with the specific situations of the construction of Sutong Bridge,Jiangsu Province,this paper presents the outlines of the scientific research,design and construction and also the quality control of the scouring protection for the main pier foundations of the Bridge. |
