| Abstract: | This paper introduces the requirements of relationship between wind speed and wave height in dynamic positioning(DP) analysis.After the study of typical environmental conditions of several sea areas,a method based on cubic spline is proposed to approximate the relationship between wind speed and wave height for different sea areas.This method has a reference value for the calculation of wind resistance capability in DP analysis. |
