Abstract:The 105-m long span main girders of Shanghai Changjiang River Bridge are the steel and concrete composite continuous box girders transformed from firstly the composite simply-supported girders.In the light of the characteristics of the long span length and heavy weight of the girders,the construction techniques for compositing the full span steel box girders and the precast concrete deck slabs are dealt with.
