| Abstract: | Medium and low speed maglev traffic are the ideal mode for urban transit in comparison with other relevant urban rail transit modes. Based upon the analysis of the specific characteristics of medium and low speed maglev vehicles and their impacts on operation safety, the framework and function of the safety system in terms of cybernetics theory are put forward. It is emphasized that information system must be utilized in order to ensure safety. |
