Reflections on the Line Pattern and Counterpoint Coding of Bus Lines Chengdu Changda Public Transportation Consultation Workroom

This paper tries to classify the bus stations into different line patterns which include the vertical line, the horizontal line, the left slash, the right slash and the loop line. New ideas on community public transportation are offered and an approach is also offered to counterpoint coding of bus lines according to their shape and direction. Specific meaning is attached to the code of every common bus line, which facilitates the public＇s identification of the direction of the lines and notion of where they are. The paper also puts forward some suggestions addressing the problems that arise from the application of the linear distribution of the bus lines and counterpoints coding which regulate the lines layout and coding. It will enhance the public＇s approval of the public transportation system and therefore encourage more people to take it.
