Abstract:Recent years, China's vehicle amount in modern cities has grown rapidly with urban transportation facing a severe challenge. The conflict between static and dynamic transport and the " parking hard" problems have become increasingly prominent. However, the static transport planning has been focusing on meeting the parking requirements, lacking the consideration of the relation between static and public transportation. This thesis detailedly introduces the application of public transport accessibility level analysis method in urban static transport planning. This method combines the static transport and dynamic transport, public transport and individual transport, transport infrastructure and transport management, optimizing the transport structure, breaking the previous idea of expanding parking capacity to alleviate " parking hard" . It is a revolutionary method of static transport planning to effectively promote the differential parking area supply, alleviate transport congestion and support the sustainable development of urban transport.
