提高英语分级教学B级班轮机英语教学质量的思考

作为检验轮机英语教学质量的一个重要标准,海船船员适任证书考试在我院的教学工作中占有重要地位。针对英语分级教学中B级班学生英语基础薄弱、专业知识基础不牢等特点,本文尝试从引导学生通过关键词理解单选题、借助情景教学法分类归纳题库考点等方法提高学生应对适任证书考试的能力。

Considerations on Improving the Teaching Quality of Marine Engineering English for B-level Students in English Placement Teaching

As one of the key criteria to evaluate the teaching quality of Marine Engineering English,the O-cean-going Seafarers’Competency Test possesses a vital role in the teaching arrangements of Qingdao Ocean Shipping Mariners College. Focus on the characteristics of B-level students whose English and engineering pro-fessional knowledge are both comparatively poor,this paper tries to find ways to improve students’ability to pass the Ocean-going Seafarers’Competency Test by understanding the multiple choices through key words, remembering the knowledge points by classification with the aid of situational teaching method,etc.
