Abstract:"Scholar painting" is a certain product of drawing at a certain historical stage,whose creation purpose is for molding temperament and self-entertainment.As time going on,"Scholar Painting" pays attention to the artist's expressing his uniqueness and individual feeling,breaking the shackles of the traditional aesthetic,which develops the traditional freehand drawing to new heights."Eight Eccentrics in Yangzhou",as a representative of this style of paintings,expresses their creativity not only inheriting the personality but worshiping the tradition of "Scholar Paintings".Moreover,it brings the paintings to a new peak with its odd style and social content,which reflects the characteristics and art features of the times.
