| Abstract: | This paper describes briefly the importance of an automatic monitoring system of aids to navigation, the frame construction, the basic combination and the details of monitoring. It also discusses the system's range, the utility and reliability and basic conditions for China to establish the system. The authors consider that it is necessary and possible for China to set up an automatic monitoring system of aids to navigation. |
