The Quantized Targets of the Influence Factor on the Ship Handling Capacity

The three factors: the navigation environment, vessels and navigating officers, form a marine navigation system. The navigation environment consists of the traffic environment and natural environment. This paper describes and analyzes the factors affecting the ship handling capacity and their influence, which has been target quantized. These quantized targets express the subjective feeling of ship handling of the navigating officers, which can be used for making the comprehensive evaluation of the navigation environment.
