摘    要:交通事件是造成偶发性交通拥挤的主要原因,由于交通事件的发生时间和地点是随机的、不可预测的,偶发性拥挤难以采取控制交通需求或提高通行能力等减轻常发性拥挤问题的对策来处理。因此偶发性拥挤控制的关键是尽早地发现事件、确认事件的性质并及时采取救援措施和为其他驾驶员提供相关信息,这也就是要建立一个完善的事件管理系统,对事件实现快速、高效、恰当地处理。交通事件检测是交通事件管理第一步,也是其技术关键,本文从总体上介绍了交通事件检测技术的研究现状,详细介绍了各种自动和非自动交通事件检测技术,对两类技术进行了比较,提出了实际应用中交通事件检测技术的选择方法。

Abstract:Traffic incident is the main cause of nonrecurring congestion . Since traffic incident occurs randomly and unpredictably in terms of site and time, nonrecurring congestion is difficult to alleviate through traffic strategies , which are used to control recurring congestion such as control traffic demandand increase the capacity.Thus the key to control non-recurrent congestion is to detect incident early, verify incident and response as soon as possible and provide related information to drivers, that is to set up an incident management system which will deal with incident quickly and efficiently. Incident detection is the first step of incident management and also the essential technique. Automatic and non-automatic incident detection technologies are introduced and compared in the paper. Development direction is also discussed here.
