Abstract:To solve the problem of low efficiency and poor data consistency in the auto parts measurement using the conventional measurement method,and improve the controllability of the auto part dimension effectively,a flexible measuring system based on vision technology is developed,and the measurement accuracy of the system is tested.The max.measurement error is 0.015mm when measuring the standard ball with this system.This system is applied to measure auto parts,and the results are compared with the data obtained with three-coordinate measurement,it is concluded that the max.hole diameter deviation is 0.11mm,and the max.position deviation is 0.1mm.The result indicates that this flexible measuring system,which has good measuring accuracy to meet the accuracy requirement of auto parts size measurement,has good engineering application value,and could replace the traditional measurement method to some extent for auto body parts measuring,and improve quality control efficiency of the auto parts manufacturing.
