| Abstract: | Communication is inseparable from the language. The cultivation of the English communicative competence is the final purpose of English learning for vocational college students. This paper analyses the learning purpose of vocational college students, and discusses how to cultivate their English communicative competence from the following aspects： teaching methods, teaching contents, teaching forms in class and extracurricular activities out of class. |
