Investment and financing of highway construction is developing to multiple channels. Based on introducing the situation of highway construction in China, the paper expounds the main sources of the highway construction fund, discusses the main problems in the construction of highway investment and fi- nancing system under the current situation, and points out that if the highway financing mechanism is built effectively, the government should further consider how to lead non-public capital into the field of road construction better.
