Abstract:Major discoveries based on inherent defects of traditional engines are the follows:the main reason for the low efficiency of traditional engine is the loss of mechanical conversion,and the mechanical conversion loss is the inherent defect of the crankshaft connecting rod mechanism,and as a non-crankshaft connecting rod mechanism,the thermal efficiency of the engine has great potential to improve,As an indication of the actual cycle,the thermal efficiency should be less than 2%of the theoretical cycle.It is also found that the thermal efficiency of Carnot cycle,which is the basis of traditional engine efficiency,is not suitable for Otto theory.Because the temperature source of Carnot cycle’s thermal efficiency is completely independent of the compression ratio of Otto’s theoretical thermal efficiency,and there is neither compliance nor relevance.If the Carnot cycle thermal efficiency is not applicable to Otto’s thermal efficiency,the Otto theory of thermal efficiency based on Carnot cycle is wrong.So,the whole efficiency system of traditional engine will face the embarrassing situation of whole line collapse.
