摘    要:
<正> 多年来对克山病的研究证实,克山病的发病是与低硒的地理环境有关,病区人群全血中硒的含量低于非病区人群,病区人群含硒酶——谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶的活性水平亦低于非病区人群。从病区粮所饲养的仔猪心肌细胞膜、线粒体形态和功能的改变、脂质过氧化物的累积和血清乳酸脱氢酶的活性高于加硒组等可看出由于谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶活性降低,导致机体抗过氧化物作用降低,生物膜之脂质产生过氧化反应而引起代谢物的紊乱,最终引起细胞坏死。这是从谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶清除脂质过氧化物方面说明低硒和含硒酶谷胱甘肽


Determination of Superoxide Dismutase Activity of Erythrocytes in Rats Fed with Diets and Water from Keshan Disease Areas
Abstract:
This Paper reports the effect of superoxide anion radical(O_2~-)on the process of Keshan disease. A simplified and inexpensive assay method for superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity has been developed. In this study pyrogallol was utilized as the reagent to generate superoxide anions and nitroblue tetrozolium as the developer. The developed color had a peak at 530 nm and was measured by ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometer(Model 751-G). Levels of SOD of erythrocytes were found much lower in rats fed with diets and water from Keshan disease areas than in normal rats. These results have led us to speculate that Keshan disease is not only associated with lack of Selenium and selenoenzyme (GSH-px), but also with other environmental factors lowering the activity level of SOD, resulting in promoting lipid peroxidation of biological membranes and influencing the integrity of the membrane. Superoxide anion radical is likely to be an important species in the process of Keshan disease.
