摘    要:认识并凸显高职英语的职业特性,有利于突出高职英语学习主体、教学目的、创新教学手段、关注教材建设。认识高职英语职业性,应处理好应试能力与应用能力,学时与效能,英语学习与专业学习,教、学、做的关系。为凸显高职英语职业性特征,英语教师英语应加快自我发展,重组课程资源,探索适合的教学方法及提升教学"职业附加值"。

Abstract:Admitting and improving the vocational function of vocational function of English courses in vocational colleges leads to emphasis on leading roles in learning, teaching objec- tives, innovation means, teaching materials development. The attention should be paid to the following relationship: the one between test abilities and application abilities, teaching periods and teaching effects, English learning and specialty learning, teaching and learning and practicing. In order to improve the vocational function, some jobs must be done, i.e. ac- celerated teachers' self-development, reconstruction of teaching resources, exploring proper teaching approaches, and enhancing "vocational added value" of teaching.
