| Abstract: | With reference to the practical bridge examples,this paper analyzes the causes leading to the planar rotating displacement of the beam of a concrete continuous curved beam bridge and also introduces the specific measures for rectifying the torsion of piers by jacking up the beam and by adding lateral restriction to the far-end bearings in order to restore the beam to its designed status. |
