Continuous rigid frame,a comparatively advanced bridge structure on metro elevated lines,may potentially result in some new and special safety risks while applied in design,construction and operation of metro lines.Compared with highway and railway tracks,subway tracks are more sensitive to settlements.China lacks experience with regard to this type of bridge structure in terms of design,construction and operation.Through the identification,analysis and assessment of risks,the paper proposes some measures and advice for risk control,which will be helpful for similar projects.
