| Abstract: | The International Bunker Oil Convention will enter into force soon. This paper, starting from the core regulations of the Convention, provides some analysis on present status of the pollution damage involving bunker oil and reasons for China to ratify the Convention. It also put forward some suggestions for the country to deal with the matters relating to the Convention at this stage. |
