飓风后的罗德岱堡国际游艇展

十一月份第一个周末的清晨，我终于搭乘南下的飞机，踏上第四十六届罗德岱堡（Fort Lauderdale）国际游艇展的旅途。仅数天前连我自己都不能确定能否参加这次延迟了一周的船展。三个多小时过后，机上正朦朦胧胧的我被喇叭里传来的声音打断，机长告知了机上只坐满了三分之一旅客；前方的目的地罗德岱堡机场即将到达，飞机就要开始降落了。在穿过了最后一层白云后，机窗外的大地渐渐地展示在我的眼前，蛛网密布的水道；与大陆仅仅被一衣带水的岸间水道（Intercoastal Waterway）所分隔的狭长的罗德岱堡海滩。再往东面望去就是波光粼粼浩瀚无垠的大西洋。

Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show after Hurricane

Because of the hurricane, Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, which is usually held at the end of October every year, was put off to November in 2005. Many manufacturers and visitors had canceled their trip to this show. Although the show was held under very difficult condition after the hurricane, meanwhile, the number of the yachts and visitors were fewer than the former ones, Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show still showed its importance to promote American Marine Industry.
