The lengthening works of No.1 Dock,Shanhaiguan Shipyard is the modification one of the old dock.The method is removing 2.5 m from the old and lengthening 70 m at the end.According to the characteristics of construction,the construction method and the knowledge for the key technology such as dock wall form,sealing strip and concrete etc.were introduced.The problems to which attention should be paid during the construction were inquired.
