| Abstract: | In view of cognitive linguistics,the paper sets out to analyze implicit conceptual metaphor;conceptual metonymy in semantic field focused on storm,probes their semantic motivation,tries to reveal the effect of metaphor,metonymy on word formation and observes the locus of concept formation.Besides it probes psychological activity and cognitive paths in acquisition of extended senses of English vocabulary. |
