Internet information life-cycle described the information generation and the whole process of evolution. The paper defined the research areas on the life-cycle of the Internet information, given the overview on the latest researches of the life index of Internet information including the amount of information, information utility value and public opinion heat. The paper also integrated the researches of the expansion of information, the utility value of information and public opinion from the perspective of life-cycle management. Finally the paper discussed challenges and directions of future research.
