From the viewpoints of the orientation and master plan of the port adequately made in the preliminary stage,strict control of construction cost and training of personnel,the paper gives an account that Lanshan Port,with 9 productive berths and an annual throughput of 32.6 million ton,has been developed into the largest liquefied petrochemical product terminal and timber import base in Shandong Province and the largest dry cassava import base and nickel ore import base in China in the fierce market competition.
