To Carry out the Concept of Scientific Development,Give Great Impetus to the National Maritime Work

Based on the briefly introduction to the trend of handling equipment at container terminal, and from the analysis of the situation about the configuration and usage, this paper states the questions which should be paid attention to about the selection of handling equipment and amount configuration from qualitative aspect. Then according to the analysis of two solutions from the plan of Rizhao port, it gives the solution adapting to the present development status of Rizhao port. It offers a theoretical basis to optimize the handling equipment and technology, and control the operation cost efficiently for Rizhao port in the future
