Abstract:Friction stir welding of LC9 Al alloy in 10mm thickness has been successfully completed.Take some samples that have good shaped surface and the inner have no defects,then take there microstructure into effect and take some properties tests such as tensile test.When the welding speed is 47.5mm/min and the rolling speed is 750rpm,the quality of the friction-stir-welded joint is the best and the deformation of the material is small.The tensile resistance of the joint is 78% of the base metal.
