| Abstract: | The history of development of PHC spun piles is briefly reviewed and the advantages,types,length and selection of the large diameter PHC spun piles of 55 m long in single sections are described with an introduction to the relevant technologies in designing the steel formwork and the centrifuges as well as the structural tests,pile driving tests and application of the finished spun piles,which may be of reference for similar projects. |
