| Abstract: | The Guanyinsha Bridge on the north section of Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway in Panyu, Guangzhou is located over the two major rivers of Qiaoli and Shawan Watercourses in Panyu. The pile caps of the main bridge pier foundations of the Bridge are of elevated piles in deep water and massive concrete structures. In this paper, the design and construction methods for the adopted steel sheet pile cofferdam and lifting support platform schemes are presented. |
