| Abstract: | The paper briefly describes the batteries used on metro trains, and introduces the structure, principle, performance and features of two kinds of batteries （lead-acid batteries and fiber structure electrode nickel-cadmium batteries） commonly used on metro trains. With technical economic comparison and analysis, it gives proposals for battery selection for metro train. |
