| Abstract: | Raw material and gradation were studied in order to search for a more reasonable molding process of coarse rubber asphalt mixture.By an orthogonal experiment,a combined method of vibration compaction and large Marshall second compaction were used to study how rubber dosage,vibration frequency and vibration time,compaction temperature and compaction times influenced on the compaction degree.Voidage was taken as the main guidepost to evaluate the compacting effect of the mixture.A more reasonable molding process for the coarse rubber asphalt mixture is put forward.The high-temperature behavior of the mixture with different rubber voidage was evaluated for recommending the reasonable rubber content. |
