广告英语语言特点及其翻译策略

摘    要:广告在竞争日益激烈的国际市场上的作用十分重要,将英语广告翻译成中国普通老百姓能接受的广告,以及为中国商品撰写在国内外宣传媒介上刊登的英语广告,愈来愈成为外贸活动中的一大重要内容。因此了解英语广告的特点与翻译策略尤为重要。本文主要介绍英语广告的语言特点,针对不同类型的广告,结合文化因素论述文化对其翻译的影响及翻译策略。

Abstract:Advertisements play a very important role in the more and more challenging international market.Understanding foreign advertisements,translating them into the advertisements that the ordinary people in China can accept,opening the international market for our Chinese goods,writing and propagating English advertisements that can be published both at home and abroad are becoming a very important part in the foreign trade activities.Therefore,it is very necessary to know the language characteristics and the translation strategies of English advertisements.This paper mainly introduces the language characteristics of English advertisements and the cultural influence on their translation.
