Technology Innovation in the Construction of Straddle Monorail Transit in Chongqing

Chongqing monorail project is the first one constructed in China,and the technology innovation is adapted according to the geographical and topographical situations of the city Chongqing. This paper introduces some key technologies applied in the project,including reinforced track beam,joint switch,experimental straddle bogie and other innovative methods of erecting beams, holds that the goal is to decease the total investment in monorail construction.
