| Abstract: | We recommend a method to determine the cross-section dimensions of structure members, whichnamed the optimal section method. Through the optimal section method, based on the current price of steel andconcrete, we can calculate the optimal cross-section dimensions and reinforced area to reach the goal of the projectcost savings. |
