| Abstract: | A control oriented model of three-way catalytic converter was developed to reduce emission by using the dynamic characteristics of Pt/Ph/CeO2/γ-Al2O3 three-way catalytic converter.The calculated relative oxygen coverage of Ce surface was taken as the deduction sensor to provide feedback signal preparation for controller.The results show that precision of the control oriented model of three-way catalytic converter can meet the requirements and the calculated oxygen storage capacity(OSC) can be used to determine the aging state of the three-way catalytic converter through OBD online diagnosis.Moreover,the excess air ratio of the three-way catalytic converter outlet and relative oxygen coverage of Ce surface can be calculated correctly. |
