Application of Rotary Digging Drill in Construction of Bridge Cast-in-situ Pile in Limestone Geological Region

The rotary digging drill has the characteristics of easily convenient replacement, fast drilling speed, good construction quality and small construction noise. The rotary digging drill has been widely applied in the construction of cast-in-situ pile in the recent years. The cast-in-situ pile is used in the design of viaduct foundation in Wuhan Luoshi Road (S) Reconstruction and Supporting Project. The lower bedrock is mainly limestone and the rotary digging drilling is used in the construction. Combined with the engineering case, the article introduces the construction gist and cautions of rotary digging drill in the construction of cast-in-situ pile in the limestone geological region.
