| Abstract: | The paper introduces the British standards that were applied during the construction of Layyah Block Quay Wall Project,Sharjah,UAE and their comparison with relevant current Chinese standards.The paper also explains the requirements and characteristics of the British Standards and expounds the construction techniques adopted to achieve the requirements of the standards during the construction of the project,which is of reference for construction of block type wharfs overseas. |
