| 摘 要： | 英语电影包含了大量的语音和图像等直观的信息，还包括大量跨文化交际的信息，在大学英语教学中不但可以扮演真实的语言信息输入角色，而且对提高学生对跨文化交际中出现的文化差异认识提供了良好的范例。本文试图从阐述英语电影作为大学英语课堂教学资源的优势人手，进而探讨电影的选择标准和操作方法及应该注意的事项，从为利用英语电影资源在大学课堂中尝试进行探讨，旨在达到利用英语电影进一步促进大学生的英语学习，提高学生的学习兴趣，改善教师的教学效果。

| Abstract: | English films have the advantages of not only encompassing the authentic audio and video English language input, also they embody large quantity of background information on cross-cultural communication. This thesis begins with an illustration of the advantages of using films in college English classroom settings and moves on to discuss the selection criteria and the areas where attention should be given, to achieve the purpose of facilitating language acquisition in college English education setting, heightening students＇ interest in language learning and bettering the efficacy of classroom teaching. |
